Optimum Mobile and Optimum Phone Customers Can Stay Connected to Family and Friends in the Wake of Hurricane Melissa

NEW YORK, NY (October 29, 2025) – Optimum, a leading provider of fiber internet, TV, mobile, and home phone services today announces free calling and texting (SMS and MMS) from the United States to Jamaica for current Optimum Mobile and Optimum Phone customers. Free calling and messaging are available now through November 30 to enable residential and business customers on Optimum’s network to reach out to loved ones during the aftermath of this historic storm. 

There is no action needed by customers; any charges will be automatically waived from their monthly bill.
