Optimum Appoints Jennifer Garrett as Chief Marketing Officer

Garrett will lead all brand, media, marketing, acquisition, and base management programs to enhance Optimum brand awareness and consideration and drive growth

NEW YORK (October 23, 2023) – Optimum, a brand of Altice USA (NYSE: ATUS), today announces the appointment of industry veteran Jennifer Garrett as Chief Marketing Officer, effective October 24. Garrett will report directly to Leroy Williams, Executive Vice President, Chief Growth Officer, and will be based out of the company’s Long Island City headquarters.

As Chief Marketing Officer, Garrett will be responsible for strengthening and differentiating the Optimum brand and value proposition – from positioning and the development of an evolved brand platform to the creation of innovative campaigns to accelerate and sustain Optimum’s growth across all business channels. She will also be tasked with leading the company’s acquisition, customer base management (CBM), and retention lifecycle programs, while continuing to amplify and enhance awareness around Optimum’s products and services through all marketing channels, developing strategies and plans to maximize loyalty, growth, retention, and profitability across the Optimum service area.

Garrett joins Optimum from Charter Communications, where she most recently served as Head of Marketing for their B2B Division, Spectrum Enterprise, overseeing cross-functional, program-driven marketing efforts for the company while building an organizational culture focused on data-driven results and a client-first mindset, including responsibility for Spectrum’s mobile marketing launch and approach as well as the direct marketing operation for the voice, video, and data businesses. Prior to Charter, Garrett spent over a decade at Cox Communications in a variety of senior sales and marketing leadership roles, where she spearheaded the development of Cox’s digital transformation and drove overall growth for the company.
