Optimum Announces the Winners of its Derek Jeter Community GOAT Contest
In partnership with Baseball Hall of Fame Legend Derek Jeter, Optimum continues to celebrate its Greatest Offer of All Time, Optimum Complete Internet + Mobile
Optimum, together with former New York Yankee and MLB Hall of Famer Derek Jeter, are thrilled to announce the grand prize winners of the Derek Jeter Community GOAT Contest.
As part of Optimum’s partnership with Derek Jeter to celebrate its Greatest Offer of All Time, Optimum Complete Internet + Mobile, the company invited Optimum customers and small business owners to share how they are making a positive difference in their community and how they act as leaders, mentors, and role models.
The Derek Jeter Community GOAT contest ran from November 1 through December 11, 2023, and recognizes 10 Optimum customers committed to supporting their communities through their individual efforts and contributions. The winners are:

- Michael H. from Parsippany, New Jersey
- Harrison B. from Wayne New Jersey
- Marie S. from Jackson, New Jersey
- Dr. Bruce K. from Dover, New Jersey
- Mario O. from Bronx, New York
- Christina P. from Bronx, New York
- Bobby H. from Rye, New York
- Joanne O. from Piermont, New York
- Jimmy V. from Chapmanville, West Virginia
This past week, the contest winners traveled to Miami, Florida to meet and have lunch with Derek Jeter and Optimum. Onsite, each winner was awarded $1,000 from Optimum to donate to the charity or organization of their choice and give back to a local cause personal to them. To celebrate the selected organizations receiving the $1,000 funding, Optimum will be hosting recognition events with the winner, charity, and community members to present the organization with their check.
