Each year Altice USA produces the Innovation Roadshow, which encompasses a series of events and activities we host for employees and students. These events aim to capture and share our culture of innovation – we’re a tech company, after all!
Among employee hackathons, focused discussions with students, emerging tech demos and exhibits, we also host a University Hackathon, where we invite and sponsor students from universities and colleges to compete. Students are given the opportunity to design and create a solution, or prototype, and present their final products to a panel of executive judges for the chance to win prizes, network with employees, learn about potential internship and employment opportunities, and in some cases, appear in press coverage.
The 2019 University Hackathon was on September 26 and 27 in Altice USA’s Bethpage, NY office. Students representing six universities formed 16 teams and competed for recognition and prizes. Check out the video below for highlights from the Innovation Roadshow / University Hackathon events.
