Altice USA Named a ‘Best Place to Work for Disability Inclusion’ for a Second Consecutive Year

Altice USA has been named a Best Place to Work for Disability Inclusion in 2022 by the Disability Equality Index (DEI). The DEI, a joint initiative between Disability:IN and the American Association for People with Disabilities (AAPD), is a comprehensive benchmarking tool that gives U.S. businesses an objective assessment of their disability inclusion policies and practices.

This year marks the second consecutive year that Altice USA has been recognized as one of the best places to work, scoring a 90% by the organization, reaffirming our commitment to make our workspaces, retail stores and products more inclusive and strengthening our commitment to championing diversity and inclusion in our recruiting efforts by connecting and attracting top talent, regardless of their disability status.

Altice USA chose to participate in the DEI this year to ensure we continue to hold ourselves accountable to offer the most inclusive and supportive culture and practices as an employer and service provider. We look to continue our progress towards building an inclusive and equitable environment for our employees and customers, including by leveraging external relationships, such as our standing partnership with Getting Hired, a platform that helps us extend our reach to more diverse candidates and provide trainings sessions on disability etiquette while also sharing best practices.

Additionally, we continue to partner and utilize our resources internally, specifically with our Altice Access Affinity group. Altice Access often helps us in our efforts to be more inclusive and accessible by providing feedback and sharing ideas on how the company can be more inclusive across all our brands. As a result, the ongoing partnership has influenced operational and cultural changes across the company as well as our retail experience and product design process. We continue to encourage our employees to be part of the process by joining Altice Access and participating in the different opportunities happening around the company.

We are proud of this recognition but know that the work does not stop here. Inclusivity fosters innovation, and we look forward to continuing to hold ourselves to the highest standard and always foster support for disability inclusion for our customers and employees.
