Senior Vice President, Corporate Finance

John Hsu serves as Senior Vice President, Corporate Finance for Altice USA. In this role, Mr. Hsu oversees investor relations, treasury and risk management.

Mr. Hsu has nearly two decades of experience in the media & telecommunications industry and joins Altice USA following an 11-year stint at AMC Networks, where he was the Executive Vice President of Corporate Development, Treasurer & Investor Relations. Before his time at AMC, he served for seven years as a Vice President at Cablevision. He started his career as an auditor at Arthur Andersen and later served as a Vice President at the investment bank Bear Stearns & Co., working on mergers & acquisitions for Fortune 500 media companies. From 2014-2020, Mr. Hsu was named to Cablefax’s “Most Influential Minorities in Cable” List.

Between his roles at Altice USA and AMC, Mr. Hsu spent a year as an investor seeking out visionary AI startups in an effort to reshape the media landscape to enhance content creation, distribution, personalization and audience engagement.

Mr. Hsu has served on several boards, including as a member of the board of directors for fuboTV, an over-the-top internet television service that focuses on distribution of live sports; MACRO, a leading media brand representing the voice and perspective of persons of color; and RLJ Entertainment, Inc., a premium digital channel company. He has also been a board observer for streaming services DramaFever and Philo as well as Adaptive Studios.

Mr. Hsu received his B.S. in Finance & Accounting from the NYU Stern School of Business and is a Certified Public Accountant.
